Dr Ali Originally from Iran and completed his medical training at the University of Kurdestan in 2009. Dr Ali then working for 9 years in emergency departments & general practice and is experienced in manage emergency Clinic and injury management.

 

Dr Ali Baghadam commenced work in November 2017 on a full-time basis at Bcerta Australia and Mackay Superclinic Group. 

He is also an Occupational Health doctor and EMO with the Department of Natural Resources, Mining & Energy for many companies in the Bowen Basin and Mackay. Dr Ali provides International Occupational Health Services for global businesses and provides a broad range of services within our clinics:

 

  • Occupational Health Medicine including Coal Board & PEM Medicals

  • Full range of Vaccinations including Q-fever testing

  • Mental Health & Drug Rehabilitation Services

  • WorkCover / Injury Management

  • Wound Management & Suturing

Dr Ali is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing tennis. He is currently one of the club doctors for the Cutters.

​Occupational Health | Specialist Physician

 

Dr John McIntosh, aka The Medical Guru and winner of AIM Entrepreneur/Owner Leadership Award 2016, is a qualified medical doctor with specialist qualifications as a hospital physician and family doctor. For more than 30 years, he has been a medical practitioner across four continents and is a leading educator in his field. As an international motivational speaker, regular newspaper columnist and TV and radio presenter John also runs seminars and retreats on self-development, health and wellbeing.

Having provided Occupational Health services in Central Queensland for the past 20 years and international Occupational Health for the past 5 years, he has high level skills. He is the Bcerta Territory Manager for South East Asia and Australia and coordinates medical services across all these regions using the innovative cloud based Occupational Health program called BENE (Bcerta Electronic Network Engine).  This unique service allows solutions for multisite and international companies to provide standardised and high quality OH services from pre-employment, injury management, travel and exit services.

Marius Johnson

 Manager / Medical Co-Ordinator

Marius completed (Year 12) schooling in South Africa before starting work as a Technician in the Petroleum Field of the Mining Sector.  Working in different mining sectors, he was contracted to various sites such as Northern Province Coal mines and the Underground Cullinan Diamond mine.   Marius also worked in Namibia at two Open Cut Coal Mines installing petroleum access systems. In 2003 his focus changed and began a new career in Occupational Health where is duties included medical testing for pre-employment, CASA & AMSA Medicals.

His family relocated to Australia in 2008 and settled in Mackay where he has worked at two different Occupational Health Centres.  Since he started working for Bcerta as the Company Liaison Manager, he has been working alongside many Bowen Based Mining Companies & International Medical and Mining Corporate Institutions.

Marius has completed training as an Australian and New Zealand Drug & Alcohol Screen, Spirometry, Audiometry Tester.

Marius will always be available to assist and help with any information as he is passionate about working with employees and companies to move towards the best outcome.

Assoc. Professor Dr John Schneider   

Occupational Health Physician

 

MBBS, Grad Dip OH&S, FAFOEM RACP, FFOM RCP(I), CPMSIA

 

Dr John Schneider holds memberships of the Australian College of Tropical Medicine and Safety Institute of Australia.  He is a Fellow of both the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and Irish Faculty of Occupational Medicine, for whom he was their examination coordinator for the Middle East and is currently a member of their examination committee.

 

He graduated in medicine from Queensland University and obtained a Graduate Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety from Curtain University.  He practiced initially as a family physician and later as a consultant in Occupational Medicine in northern Australia, mainly in the mining and agricultural sector and their associated service industries.

 

From 2005 until 2013 he worked at the Institute of Public Health, UAE University, lecturing in Occupational Medicine to both undergraduate and postgraduate and vocational students. His main areas of interest are Occupational Health in rural and remote worksites, Workplace Rehabilitation, Ergonomics in particular work in hot environments, and postgraduate education in Occupational Medicine.

Dr H John McIntosh

Dr John McIntosh qualified in Medicine in Scotland in 1984 and passed both his Specialist Internal Medicine and Specialist GP Qualifications. He has been providing Occupational Health services in Australia for 20 years and internationally for five years.

Dr McIntosh has set up large business groups in Australia and internationally including Indonesia that have progressively grown over the years because they are all based on quality, integrity and values.

Dr McIntosh has led major advancements in medical services in Australia, advising the Federal Department on matters that led to national changes to Medicare billings, vaccinations and community services that continue to improve community outcomes. His innovative systems have resulted in his network of practices and services to expand and improve standards of services across Australia.

He has won multiple awards recognising his services in business, medicine and literature with awards like the National award for Community Engagement from AGPAL, the Telstra Business Awards, the Australian Institute of Management Awards, and International Elit literary awards. He has won grants for innovative App development and for a large variety of medical service grants to address local and national health issues so is skilled in managing major projects, private institutions and reporting requirements.

As one of the founding Directors of Bcerta International, he has helped to create the global network of Occupational Health providers and is the Territory Manager for South East Asia.

He is also a well-known author, business coach and trainer of doctors and business managers in business processes for improved personal and company outcomes, using innovative positive mindset processes to improve workplace atmospheres, mental resilience of staff and productivity. These have proven improvements in attitudes and resilience scores by up to 30%. He also runs retreats and seminars on success, well-being, health, corporate productivity, stress management and improving attitudes and interpersonal relationships in the workplace.

Dr McIntosh’s Occupational Health experience extends to providing services for companies from Inpex to BMA, GE Oil and Gas, UGL, Woolworths, Jennmar, Allianz and many more.  He is also an accredited trainer for the RACGP, the Cognitive Institute, James Cook University, Central Queensland University and Generalist Medical Training. He is also involved in research in multiple innovative medical and business processes with CQU.
